It appears that a 43-year old woman was so desperate for World Series tickets to see her beloved Philadelphia Phillies that she offered to perform sexual acts to an undercover cop in exchange for the tickets.

Susan Finkelstein posted an ad on Craigslist saying that she was gorgeous, tall, blonde, and blessed with size, and said she would offer “extra” benefits in return for tickets to the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees.
All seemed to be going well until she tried to strike a deal with an undercover officer and landed in jail for prostitution. Now she gets her 15-minutes of fame with her picture all across the Internet and news channels.
Now I have no idea what the penalty is for prostitution, but I imagine for first-time offenders, she will be out on bail here pretty soon. So she will probably even have more chances of making a deal to get the tickets. After all, they say the there is no such thing as bad publicity!
What I don’t understand is what makes a person make such a decision – and so publicly at that? I mean, maybe if you had a friend who knew somebody and it just worked out that way, but just openly and bluntly advertising your body for a couple of tickets? I just think she has her priorities a little out of whack.
By the way, I understand that with all the robberies and sexual transactions that are initiated through Craigslist that cops have really started keeping an eye on the website. So make sure that everything you do is on the up and up!

Seems to me that we are truly in the Golden Age of our Philadelphia Phillies as we are coming off of back to back World Series appearances coming away with one win. It has been 35 years since we last saw this not with the Phillies but with the Flyers. With the addition of Roy Halladay and replacing Pedro Feliz with Placido Polanco, the Phillies look like a buzzsaw not just in the National League East and the NL, but I would go as far to say all of Baseball as well.
Now with that said, we have to look at what this will do to ticket prices for the games in Philly. I can say this, bad economy or not, this city is painted red, while long known for being a football town, people from Philly will tell you the Phillies for as bad as they have been, have always been in the eyes of the fan. Couple that with a title and you are now just seeing how great of a baseball town this is and always has been. Unfortunately this will be reflected in the ticket prices. Do not expect to get tickets anywhere near face value or expect to find any last minute deals on the big games, while you may get close to face or under face for a mid week game, the prime time games will go for over face. Might be a dollar over or 100 over but a Phillies Redsox game will cost a few bucks. However, prices may not be as bad as you think and look at it this way, it is not just a game, its an event. Going to Citizens Bank Park is a good time for both the fan and non fan and anyone who has been there knows this. You are paying for a night out on the town and it is WELL worth it. Now lets take a look at how you can get Philadelphia Phillies Tickets.
1. Purchase Season, Game Plan, Sunday plan or individual tickets to the Phillies by the Phillies. Only problem here is if you wait, they most likely will be totally sold out by early spring.

Craigslist is a good site to find tickets from season ticket holders or even ticket brokers looking to sell their tickets. The think to keep in mind is that you are OPEN game for a scam on this site, so tread lightly and make sure you check everything out before purchasing off of an individual.
2. Ebay
Same as craigslist in regards to who is selling but the sellers actually have a feedback score that can help out in regards to your decision process. ONLY deal with people with HIGH feedback and RECENT feedback. Try to deal with, “Powersellers.” NEVER deal with someone with recent negative feedback or NO feedback. Not for a commodity that can expire and who can beat you on money.
3. Ticket broker
Love or hate them, they do have what you are looking for. Hey even baseball teams are now in the action by pairing up with ticket reseller websites. But this article is about giving you valuable information and here it, “EVERY BROKER SELLS THE SAME TICKETS GIVE OR TAKE SOME SEATS HERE OR THERE.”
You need to find the broker who is marketing up their ticket the less. One scan of ticket websites bought me to a local Philly site, http://broadwaykings.com/ In comparing prices, this company seemed to have the best priced out there. I took it one step further, I ordered from them. The tickets were delivered, as advertised, and we had a good time.
So no matter how you get your tickets, just get out there and have a good time. I HIGHLY recommend the Schmitter Sandwich, [not named after Mike] and there is also a Tony Luke’s there, forget the cheesesteak, get the chicken cutlet sandwich, it is crazy good.
